The MULTICABIN M2 rear tent is designed for camper vans with double rear doors, including the Renault Trafic, Opel Vivaro, Nissan Primastar, Nissan NV300 and Fiat Talento. It uses the vehicle’s rear doors as support elements, eliminating the need for a complex pole structure and making assembly quick and easy.

The tent can be installed even when a bike rack is fitted to the rear of the camper van. Its versatile design allows it to be used either as a separate room or as an extension of the camper van.

A practical divider panel between the vehicle and the tent is included as standard. It can be opened or closed depending on how you want to use the space. When closed, the tent can serve as a separate shower room, changing room, toilet or storage area. When open, it creates an extension of the camper van and provides convenient access to the vehicle interior, regardless of the interior configuration.

The large front entrance provides excellent ventilation and visibility from inside the vehicle. It can also be transformed into a practical awning using the integrated eyelets and camping poles.

The sides of the tent feature vertical Velcro fasteners for attachment to the rear compartment frame. The Velcro for attaching the tent inside the vehicle is not included, allowing you to choose the most suitable type and color for your camper van interior.

The included fiberglass rods help maintain the shape of the tent, particularly in windy conditions or when camping on hard ground where tent pegs cannot easily be used. Four metal tent pegs are also included for securing the tent on softer ground.

Two roof rods increase the interior height and create additional usable space. This makes the tent suitable for storing bulky equipment such as surfboards, skis or other camping gear. The raised interior space can also be used to hang a shower or lamp.

The front door can be converted into a practical awning, providing additional protection from the sun or rain and increasing the comfortable living space around your camper van.

Mounting

The tent is first hung over both rear doors using the side flaps. Elastic bands secure the sides of the tent to the lower part of the doors.

The connection between the tent roof and the vehicle is secured with an additional elastic band that overlaps the upper part of the tent onto the vehicle frame. Two hooks attach it to the door hinges.

The cross-shaped roof rods complete the structure and create a spacious interior.

The fiberglass rods and tent pegs are particularly useful on windy days. The lower part of the tent features a sleeve for inserting the fiberglass rods, while four elastic anchor straps and the included pegs secure the tent to the ground.
